Crispian Heath

Crispian's work is inspired by landscape - rugged cliffs and other geological sits of Britain that capture the play of light in the natural world. He begins by taking photographs and then drawing from these in charcoal, before transposing his designs into the three dimensions of clay sculpture. This, in turn, is placed in the kiln where the alchemy of heat and time works its magic.
