Edward Stamp

Born in London in 1939, Edward Stamp was evacuated during the war to a small farm in Dunton, Buckinghamshire. This quietly beautiful corner of England made an impression on him that was to dictate much of his later work as a landscape painter. Edward's paintings, both in oil and watercolour, faithfully represent the landscape around him in his adopted Buckinghamshire. Farms and barns, the fields and hedgerows are all captured in his inimitable style.
