About Julie Brown

Between a History of Art degree in the 70s at the University of East Anglia and a Fine Art BA at the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury commencing in 2006, Julie spent many years exploring a variety of art processes.
Whilst bringing up her family she taught Early Years children in various local primary schools, particularly enjoying teaching printmaking with such young children.
In 2014 she joined Bodenpress in Chesham and worked to develop a range of print making techniques, particularly Collagraph and Monoprint. Themes of pattern, order and sequence remain the subject for much of her work.
