Mitzie Green
The materials she uses and the technical application are important to her as she seeks methods that make it impossible to be neat and tidy. In the letting go of restrictions and control she allows things to happen. By capturing the feeling of spontaneity and excitement she can pursue a more fluid sense of being. From the mess created she then establishes some sort of order and meaning.
Mitzie has a Diploma in Stitched Textiles and a Degree in Painting and Printmaking from Hertfordshire University. She has exhibited widely throughout the UK, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and The Mall Galleries, London.
