Original gold toned Van Dyck Brown print coated by hand and then wet process printed on Stonehenge cotton rag.
The artist says of the print, "This is one of a set of images from India processed in the same manner. I love the calmness of this scene in a Jain temple in Rajasthan. The use of the old Victorian Van Dyck Brown process lends a sense of timelessness to the print. The gold toning gives a slight shift in tone and greater permanence."
This is a hand-produced cyanotype print from an original photograph by the artist. Signed and numbered, each print is unique in a small limited edition of just 10 prints.
The print is sold mounted with the whole print visible within a single mat of archival mountboard. All materials are acid free. These are variable edition prints so each print within an edition is unique and subtly different from others in the same edition. Hand-printed to order by the artist; normally orders will be completed within five days unless the artist is away when the print will be made available as soon as possible – we will contact you to confirm as soon as we have received your order, or call us on 01296 612150 to check in advance.
