About Clare Buchta
Clare enjoys creating original painting and printing methods to express her view of the natural world. Monoprinting and oil painting using her own special techniques produces original land and seascapes in an individual style.
Printmaking has always been a strong favourite particularly monoprinting which creates unusual textures and marks not possible in any other painting method and well suited to the landscapes and seascapes that she likes to portray.
Oil paintings using a specially created technique is another method used to create land and seascapes This style can sometimes be realistic or be semi abstract but retains the recognisable structures of landscape and coast.
Clare has exhibited regularly at Obsidian Art, as well as in London, Reading, Henley ,Wokingham and Woodley. Her work is in collections in the UK and abroad. Clare is an exhibiting member of Reading Guild of Artists and a member of Wokingham Art Society and Woodley and Early Arts Group
