About Becca Clegg
Becca Clegg paints from the studio in her house, on the edge of the Surrey Downs.
Having trained as an Interior Designer in the 1980s, and had a successful career as a Hotel Designer working on 4 and 5 star hotels for nearly 15 years, after her children were born she took the opportunity of going back to her love of painting.
After attending life drawing classes and abstract painting courses, notably in St Ives in Cornwall, Becca now produces work by mark-making using inspiration from things she loves, notably colours and patterns in landscape, fabrics, flowers from her garden and her Art Nouveau tiles that are in the studio.
She also enjoys sharing the knowledge she has gained over the years, both in education & the workplace, & holds monthly workshops for children aged 7 to 12 on Saturdays which, she is told, are lots of fun. She also teaches one-off classes for adults.
