Alanda Calmus

Scottish based painter, Alanda Calmus work uses expressionistic displays of colour to convey her joy of the natural world.

Her paintings begin with intuitive mark-making. Once she sees something in the random marks she starts to bring out the form and details. She retains as many of the original marks as possible to keep energy and vibrancy in the finished piece. This makes each expressive piece unique and unrepeatable.

Alanda's artwork has been in many solo and group shows. She has collectors across the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
