Artist Statement by Marc Peters

I have always been creative and I knew from a young age that I wanted to do something creative and hands on when I grew up. 

After leaving school I studied Applied Arts then gained an HND in Glass Art  Design and Production. I then went on to work with an independent stained  glass company where I gained experience in everything from teaching  stained glass techniques to creating unique stained glass for churches and  homes throughout Scotland. 

After going fully self employed four years ago due to struggling with my  mental health I am so grateful that my "wee" business has grown from  strength to strength. We now supply to over 100 stockists from all around the  UK, Scottish islands and a few dotted around the world too. With the help of  my small team including my Mum, Vhari, we design and hand-craft bespoke  fused glass decorations, greetings cards, homeware and gifts. 

From 2016 working in my garden shed with one kiln to 2024 working in my specially designed unit with a whole team and five kilns, I am amazed to have come so far and can't wait to see what's next! 

I absolutely love Christmas and I always have so much fun creating my Christmas collection each year. This years is by far my best yet so I am excited to share it  with you.
