About Dawn Coulter Cruttenden

Dawn Coulter-Cruttenden, a Northern Irish artist based between London and Donegal. Her work is mainly in graphite, gold leaf and watercolour with recurring themes of fairytales, myths and legends. Much of her creative influence comes from the Pre Raphaelites, art nouveau and of illustrators such as Arthur Rackham and Edmund Dulac.

in 2016 Dawn became the first woman to be an artist in residence at The Savoy Hotel, London. Her drawings and limited edition prints are becoming collectable throughout Ireland and the UK with originals selling out very quickly. She will be exhibiting at The Mall Galleries, London in December 2017. Her art is in private collections worldwide including LA, London, Ireland and Australia.

Dawn was born in Northern Ireland in 1972, studied at Rupert Stanley College of Art in Belfast before moving to Newcastle upon Tyne to the School of Art and Design.
