Julien Hatswell

Julien attended KIAD at Rochester between 1986-90 studying interior design followed by Industrial Modelmaking/Prototype Product Design. Following graduation and a brief period working freelance as a prototype sculptor/pattern maker for a London toy design company, Julien realised true joy lay in painting and sculpting for himself. Julien's first clock was introduced in early 2003. Since then the collection has grown to include a number of unusual and eye-catching wall and mantle clocks. Along with the allure of artists such as the Pre-Raphaelites, and many of the Visionaries, it is surrealist Salvador Dalí who deeply inspires him.
