Moira Third

Moira Third is a professional artist and maker from Scotland. She has a Masters Degree in Fine Art at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen.

Her beautiful richly coloured stitched work is made firstly by painting an artists canvas before layering with millions of tiny stitches, using only straight stitch and just the needle, guided by hand on a domestic sewing machine ( this of course with a profusion of richly coloured thread).
