A fun image by Nicholas Ward, this is a signed limited edition print. Each piece is signed and numbered by the artist.

The story behind the piece:

"One of my favourite character from Charles Dickens. Brutal, vicious and entirely without any redeeming qualities, you can’t help but think Bill Sikes has a backstory of his own that would be worth the telling. Here, murder has been done and Bill is on the run, prior to trying to dispose of his faithful dog, Bullseye. It seemed only right that the style of this picture should be inspired by William Nicholson’s famous character woodcuts of the Victorian period."

The image is approximately 42 x 29.7cm.

Supplied unframed (cellophane wrapped & backed), but can be framed if required - just contact the gallery for a quote. They are simple, graphic, lighthearted images, mainly in two colours, and have been produced as art prints on good quality paper. The original images were produced traditionally with pen and ink and then coloured digitally.
