Join us to explore the beautiful historic village of Swanbourne in north Bucks for an exciting Art Trail including 4 venues around the village and 40 exhibiting artists and makers showing a wonderfully wide range of painting, printmaking, photography, glass, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, homewares, gifts, cards and more.

 

All venues are free to visit and all are offering refreshments for a small charity donation.

Venue 1

Brises Farmhouse

A wonderfully diverse range of art & designer craft displayed in our 16th century farmhouse and garden.

This year's exhibitors at the farmhouse are: Alexandra Buckle (printmaking), Carmen Carreira (painting & illustration), Chloe Romanos (jewellery), Hannah Heys (ceramic vessels), Linda Travers Smith SWA (painting), Marc Fraser (pottery), Sophie Court (acrylic jewellery & assemblages) and Suzanne Raffellini (glass artist) plus the ‘squareroots’ group of artists: Patricia Lynch (artist using egg tempera & gold leaf), Liz Meier (painting in oils acrylic & mixed media), Isabel Fallow (acrylic & mixed media paintings & prints), and June Kingsbury (ceramic sculpture).

In the garden we have a mix of sculpture, including glass by Vitreus Art.

An exciting display of painting, illustration, photography, and ceramics.
Exhibiting at the Village Hall are 6 artists: Chenxi Ni, Debbie Crooks, Fenella Mowbray, Rebecca Epton, Susan Rawlinson and Tracey Ebbs. 

Venue 3 
St Swithun's Church, Mursley Road, MK17 0SW.
Exhibiting at St Swithun’s Church are 6 artists: Katy Blunt (painting & ceramics), Jane Charles (textiles), Shannon Dinh (photography), Wendy Hopcroft (watercolours), Katie Parker (drawing) and Dave Bellamy (oil painting).
An exciting range of vibrant work in a range of media in this wonderful venue dating back to the 13th Century.

Venue 4
Brises Farm Barn, Nearton Road, Swanbourne, MK17 0SL,
Exhibiting – The Barn at Brises Farm (next door to Brises Farmhouse venue) are a collection of 16 artists and makers.
A wonderfully diverse range of painting, illustration, textiles, photography, glass, ceramic sculpture, jewellery and more.

Obsidian Art 

Obsidian Art no longer has a permanent art gallery, but we host regular events from our 16th Centrury farmhouse in Swanbourne and in other venues in and around Buckinghamshire.  We also offer a full framing service by appointment.
