About Cesare Capri - Italian Wood Artisan & Designer

Cesare Capri is an Italian-born artisan and designer based in the United Kingdom,
dedicated to preserving the traditions of fine woodworking through contemporary
craftsmanship.

Trained at the Art Institute of Monopoli in southern Italy, he creates handcrafted tobacco pipes, designer lamps, chessboards, writing instruments, and bespoke wooden objects that combine functionality with timeless design.

Working with carefully selected materials such as briar, olive wood, ebony, and other fine hardwoods, every piece is individually shaped by hand, allowing the natural grain and character of the wood to guide the final form.

His work reflects a passion for traditional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the belief that handmade objects should be both beautiful and made to last. Inspired by his Italian heritage and now creating from his UK workshop, Cesare continues to transform raw wood into unique pieces that celebrate nature, artistry, and the enduring value of craftsmanship.
