A stunning gilded hand-engraved hare necklace by Hannah Willow. A limited edition design numbered 5 of 5 only. With an unusual purple labradorite drop (impossible to capture in a photograph but when tilted in the light it displays an amazing purple flashing across the surface of the stone), and smaller faceted amethysts and an aquamarine stone.
Hand-engraved on both the front & the reverse of the pendant, with the words 'I will run and run forever where the wild fields are mine' engraved on the reverse.
The pendant has a total drop length of approximately 7cm and is approximately 1.75cm wide. The silver chain is approximately 18".
This piece can also be purchased by monthly interest-free instalments of £46.50 using Own Art - interest free credit - contact the gallery for full details and an application.

About Hannah Willow
"I am an artist and jewellery maker and live in the Wiltshire countryside, surrounded by hills and ancient places, carved white hill horses and rings of standing stones. My inspiration comes from the land, wild and free places, stories and folklore, poetry, myth and legend. I strive to capture the hidden knowledge held within the landscape and spark rememberings that will connect us back to our deepest roots and the hidden memory of this land. I try to instil this feeling of connection and magic into all of my work. In addition to this, I read and collect folklore and collect and write poetry. These words often form the first stirrings of a new idea and are an intrinsic part of my work. On the back of all my pieces of jewellery I engrave words or poetry that reflect the magic and feeling that inspired that particular piece. I have work in collections in the UK, Russia, Italy, France, Germany, Sweden, Australia and the USA."
