A beautiful hand-printed reduction linocut by Alexandra Buckle, showing a peaceful scene at Alexandra's local park after a small flurry of snow. Created using twelve subtle colours over nine layers.
Printed by hand in a very limited edition of just 20. Small variations make each individual piece truly original. Every print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom and conservation mounted. This is a reduction linocut; a relief print formed with layers of colour which are cut and printed from the same block of lino. The block is destroyed in the process.
Materials: lightfast water-based inks, archival cotton paper, conservation mount
Artwork size: 20 x 20 cm
Supplied mounted and framed in a solid oak frame.
