About Suzanne Raffellini

Suzanne Raffellini is a glass artist working with both stained and fused glass. Exploring glass as a medium to create a range of items from jewellery to stained glass windows and fused glass sculptures. 

Educated through  City and Guilds and NCFE qualifications in glass followed by self-teaching, Suzanne’s work draws upon her scientific experimental background and takes inspiration from the Buckinghamshire countryside around where she lives. She is fascinated by the human emotional response to the colours of glass and her work explores the interaction of light with glass and how the emotional response of the viewer changes with change in the quality of the light interacting with glass.

Suzanne splits her time between creating her own works and commissions and passing on these traditional skills through workshops, term-time classes, and in depth summer schools.
