Join us to explore this exciting new Art Trail including 3 venues in and around Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire as part of Hertfordshire Open Studios,

With over 50 exhibiting artists and makers showing a wonderfully wide range of painting, printmaking, ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, furniture, wood, gifts, cards and more.

All venues are free to visit.

Berkhamsted Civic Centre. 
161 High Street, Berkhamsted. HP4 3HB.

Opening Event: Thursday 17th September 5pm to 8pm (all welcome).
Then daily 10am to 4pm from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September.

Exhibiting in the Civic Centre are members of The Buckinghamshire Craft Guild, Brigid Marlin & Friend's plus 9 talented Guest Artists: Alexander James Gordon (oil painting), Cesare Capri (woodcraft), Denise Purdy (printmaking), Fenella Mowbray (ceramics), Helen Boden (printmaking), Mary Casserley (painting), Paula Davies-Smith (mixed media with a textiles feel), Sue Nicholls (textile art with machine embroidery and printmaking), Suzanne Raffellini (glass).

A exciting range of curated crafts by the Craft Guild members. Mische technique paintings by Brigid Marlin and friends, plus painting, glass, woodcraft, printmaking, ceramics, jewellery and textiles.

Exhibiting artists : Alexandra Toyne (paintings in acrylic & oil), Carla Jacobson (mixed media artist), Cécile Gallina (acrylic paintings), Elspeth Hector (knitted textiles & wire jewellery), Helene Engrand (watercolours, ink and graphic pen), Sally Dorrity (ceramics), Samuel Green (illustrator working in watercolour, pen and coloured pencil), Susan Chester (acrylic and watercolour paintings), Tim Gilpin (acrylic on canvas), and Tracey Ebbs (pen & watercolour).

 An exciting exhibition by 10 artists and makers exhibiting ceramics, paintings, illustration, mixed media, sculpture and jewellery.

The exhibiting artists are: Chenxi Ni (photography), Edwina Wilks (washi tape pictures along with portrait/ life drawings in charcoal, conté crayons, and oils), Faith Evans (mixed media painting and beach-combed scupltures), Hannah Heys (ceramics), Izabela Rocks (textile inspired jewellery), Melanie Cairns (ink & wash), Pauline Smith (acrylic/oil paintings), Sally McIver (contemporary painting mainly acrylic), and Sarah Rupesinghe Art (mixed media painting).

Hertfordshire Open Studios takes place in venues across Hertfordshire every September. Directories will be available from Obsidian Art and participating artists and makers from August.
