A One Day ‘Introduction to Charcoal Realism in Animals’ with Artist, Becky Gouverneur.
Saturday 5th September - 10am to 4pm
Suitable for: Adult 18+ Ages: 16 & 17 also welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
The course is suitable for complete beginners to drawing as well as artists with experience drawing in other media who wish to explore using charcoal.

Saturday 10th October
10.30am to 4.30pm (incl 1 hr lunch break)
Suitable for: Adult 18+ Ages: 16 & 17 also welcome but each young person aged 16 & 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
The tuition is suitable for beginners or improvers.
All the equipment and materials you need will be provided. You will leave with a small run of prints.

‘Art Inspiration from Nature’ Workshop for Adults with Artist, Sally Leggatt.
Art Inspiration from the Garden and Beyond - Drawing Bumblebees in Graphite.
Saturday 12th September 1.30pm to 4.00pm
Ages: Suitable for: Adult 18+ Ages: 16 & 17 also welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
The workshop is suitable for beginners who want to learn tips and techniques for drawing the shape and structure of a bumblebee, in graphite. Enabling a springboard to use and adapt techniques learnt, for other small creatures.
Resources for participants to bring will be specified upon booking.
You will leave with a finished sketch of the Bumblebee.

Creating Art with Natural Materials Workshop for Adults & Young People with Artist, Sally Leggatt
Wed 28th October 1.30pm to 4.30pm
Suitable for: Adult 18+ & Ages: 9+ accompanied by an adult.
A perfect taster afternoon for adults and young adults.
A creative and relaxed workshop using flowers, fruit, feathers, leaves and twigs. Art using natural materials, and interesting techniques producing surprising and wonderful images. There is flower and leaf hammering, several methods of leaf, flower and feather printing, and twig drawing. Creating pieces of artwork which can make a final design to take home.
£50 per 18+ adult & £40 per young person aged 9 to 17 yrs.

Accessibility: Please note that this is a 16th century building with some steps and unlevel surfaces. We do have a ramp for wheelchairs which will allow access to all rooms on the ground floor, but there is a slope up to the front door, and we do not have an accessible toilet. Please do contact us is you need any help or would like to reserve a parking spot next to the house and we will do our very best to help.
The Betsey Wynne
Situated a short walk from our farmhouse is our lovely local eatery, The Betsey Wynne. They have ample car parking. Booking is recommended to eat there at weekends.
To walk to ours from The Betsey Wynne, turn right out of the pub and take the footpath known as 'New Walk', just by the bus shelter on tne opposite side on the road. At the end of the footpath turn right on Nearton End, and you will find our farmhouse on your left a a few steps further on.
If you are driving from The Betsey Wynne, turn left out of the pub and take the first right, Tattams Lane. Turn right at the bottom of Tattams Lane onto Nearton End and follow the road along past The Methodist Chapel on your right and you will see our farmhouse to your left set on the roadside just after the cottages, Please turn down the gated drive just before the house (to the left of the house as you look at it) and park on the lawn or drive, or on the verge along the wall at the front.
